Markov and Semi-Markov Processes with Fuzzy States. Part 1. Markov Processes

For a discrete-continuous random Markov process, the problem of reducing the dimension of the matrix Cauchy problem for the Kolmogorov matrix equation is formulated and solved by introducing fuzzy states using the proximity of this equation to the matrix difference equation. The simplest reliability and mass service problems have been solved, with the help of which the proposed methodology for applying the technique of introducing fuzzy states, which allows us to reduce the dimension of the original problem, is demonstrated.
Keywords: fuzzy states of the Markov process; reliability and queuing models with fuzzy states
