Automation of Procedures for Selecting Response Strategies to Incidents in IT Systems

Nowadays, the problem of reducing the time for choosing the most rational strategy of incident response in IT systems is a relevant issue. The paper proposes an approach to automate this procedure based on the integration of decision making theory methods: hierarchy analysis method, payoff matrix method and ranking method. The methods that are correct in terms of the complexity of the procedures performed by the decision maker and do not require large computing power are selected. An example of selection and ranking of strategies of response to incidents in the information system based on the proposed approach is shown and a variant of realization of the automated system for solving the considered problem is proposed.
