The Instrument Architecture for Visual Analysis of Satellite Measurements in Exploratory Problems

The paper considers the architecture of the instrument that automates the process of visual analysis of time series of satellite measurements. Most of the focus is on design and description of the architecture under conditions of insufficient formalization of the physical problem definition, as well as constantly evolving of end users (researchers) needs. Concepts and principles of the international standard ISO/IEC/IEEE 42010:2011 Systems and software engineering — Architecture description (in the Russian Federation was brought into force in 2017 as GOST R 57100-2016 Sistemnaya i programmnaya inzheneriya. Opisaniye arkhitektury) are used for the architecture describing. The instrument architecture is also considered in terms of the possibility of simultaneous functioning of the instrument developed on its basis in two different environments: in an environment without access to the Space Research Institute science ground segment and in an environment with access to it.
Keywords: software architecture, ISO/IEC/IEEE 42010:2011, GOST R 57100-2016, viewpoint, view, environment, visual analysis of satellite measurements, exploratory problem
