The Concept of Improving the Efficiency of Managing of Educational Systems Based on Adaptive Algorithms of Swarm Intelligence

The article addresses the concept of improving efficiency of educational systems management. The proposed concept allows the construction of individual and team paths for training specialists in accordance with the requirements of employers. A distinctive feature of the developed concept is the use of modified swarm intelligence algorithms to support decision-making based on the personal and psychological qualities of students. The selection of the algorithm corresponding to the student is carried out on the basis of cluster analysis and takes into account the personal characteristics of students and the results of each stage of training. When constructing learning paths in the educational system, it is proposed to use the following algorithms of swarm intelligence: swarming of bees, a colony of ants, fireflies and schools of fish. Each of these algorithms solves its specific problem in the educational system. The choice of algorithms is determined by the similarity of the behavioral models of a student and groups of students. The proposed concept is implemented in the SkillsForYou — the software package for managing IT-specialists training, which includes the following modules: organization of training management, assessment of personal and psychological qualities, olympiad programming, and a mathematical module. Testing of the method of training IT specialists, implemented in accordance with the proposed concept, was carried out at STEPL LLC, which allowed to reduce the time for training IT specialists by 40 % and double the number of students who successfully finished the training.
