Project Risk Management in IT Industry Organizations

Nowadays any company's ability to quickly adapt to unstable market conditions is the key to the enterprise successful operation. Choosing the appropriate project management methodology and taking into account project features and management processes automaton provide the company's possibility to adapt to market volatility.
The paper shows that Agile approaches application to IT-project management provides a competitive advantage for IT services enterprises. However, high-uncertainty IT-projects have high rates of change, complexity and risk. The authors propose replicable approach to risk management for IT-projects implemented using Scrum Method. Authors have used COBIT5 regulations to create IT-project risks' formalized description. The processes, tools and methods for project risk management are based on PMBoK 6ed provisions. The risk management business process and document templates for it have been developed. The possibilities of using advanced software for risk management processes automation are shown. The proposed approach has been tested on real problems and illustrated by practical examples.
The approach has been successfully used in the real project execution.
