Methods of Structural Analysis of Complex Products in Integrated CAD/CAM-systems

The problem of structural analysis of complex products in computer-aided design systems is considered. A hypergraphic mathematical model of the mechanical structure is proposed. It is shown that the connected and geometrically coordinated fragments of the product are described by contractible hypergraphs. This model can be used for deep structural analysis of the project. It allows you to detect many design errors and potentially dangerous solutions in the earliest stages of projecting. The criteria for identification of the overbasing, incoherence, loss of coordination, etc. are proposed. A method for estimating the "depth of access" of parts has been developed, which allows the complexity of disassembly and structural repairability of the product.
